Welcome to the Official Tinkers' Bedrock Wiki!

The Tinkers' Bedrock Wiki serves as the definitive encyclopedia for the Tinkers' Bedrock modpack for Minecraft developed by Stratospheer.

About

Tinkers' Construct is originally a mod for Minecraft Java Edition, made by mDiyo. This mod expanded on the selection of tools, while also overhauling how you would craft them. This gained in large popularity and reached a total of over 150 million downloads as of 2024. Being greatly inspired by this mod, Stratospheer requested in 2021 to the original creator if he could remake this mod, as bedrock recently had an overhaul in its addon API. Due to the mod being MIT licensed, it was accepted, so he began his journey into learning how to port over the mod from scratch. As of right now, the add-on has over 30k downloads on CurseForge, and about 90k shares on MCPEDL, showing it to be a success in a growing bedrock modding community.

Version 2: 2024 - Now

  • Aluminum was a new material added, used as the new base material for the smeltery, along with Seared Bricks. This inclusion symbolized the change of pace for the add-on. Instead of creating a 1:1 port, Strat felt it was more necessary to create his own thing, while keeping the charm of Tinkers’ Construct.
  • Tool recipes are noticeably unique; tools now used similar parts to each other, to remove redundancy and only need to optimize for less parts.
  • The smeltery also finally gained the ability to add up to 3 layers, allowing for the storage of multiple fluid types, and easier alloying.
  • Implemented an armor system using the materials included in the add-on, each one providing unique effects and abilities with their own trade-offs.
